Hi readers, anyone here loves a good personality test as much as I do? Are you always referring to yourself by the results of your MBTI Test and the likes (I’m an introvert intuitive feeler who is always somewhere in between being a judger and perceptive person, a sanguine, a tiger, and a 9, LOLs! )?
Then, check out The True Colours Test!
My True Colors Test Result is :
38 % Purple, 21 % Blue, 17 % Orange and 7 % Green!
Let’s check out what does all that means and see my comments and thoughts. Please share your results and what you think of the results too. 🙂
Purple Characteristics
Your true color is purple! Purple individuals usually are:
- Loyal
- Dependable
- Prepared
- Organized
- Caring
Your true color is purple! (In another version of the test, the color of purple is represented by Gold colour. The meanings of the Purple is the same as what they assign to the Gold colour. So I’m a Purple/Gold )
You are very detail-oriented and love to plan ahead. You are very predictable and responsible, which gives you a sense of security in life. You rarely do anything that is unpredictable or unplanned. —->> Yepp, that’s me! I hate unplanned anything. During personal trips, or trips that I am in charge of, I always need to know the what, when, who, etc. It’s all scheduled of!
You also value history and tradition. You hold your family’s shared beliefs very closely, and have a high moral standard. You enjoy finding ways to live out these values in various ways throughout your life, whether that be through helping others by volunteering or through your career. You enjoy having others rely on you to help. —-> I love helping others and love being needed, but I’m not really a big fan of history and tradition. In fact, I love all chances to throw out history and tradition and make new things.
You enjoy being the best at what you do, and believe there is a right way to do everything. Others would describe you as a “rule-follower” who “does things by the book”. Because of this, you can also become pushy and judgmental when you don’t agree with others’ decisions. —-> No one will say that my personality is like this! Basically everyone can vouch that I am a rebel through and through. I just do whatever I want, whenever I want, and is utterly stubborn and independent. Though at work, I’m mostly a rule follower who always does the things by the book and I hate being antagonized. Maybe it’s a personality aspect that only comes out at work!
Because of their need for structure, security, and predictability, those whose true color is purple do well in jobs that are very straightforward and have highly defined duties. You enjoy knowing what your tasks will be for the day, and would not perform well in careers that are highly unpredictable. Purple individuals are well-suited for careers in finance or public service. —> The comment is mostly so true! I absolutely hate having to deal with constant unpredictability, and will soon start to grow resentful. I love order too much. But careers in finance and public service? Erh…maybe not. I’m not that inclined at all to work in finance. Public service, erm…maybe. But nah, blah…
While the second biggest result is Blue, let’s check what it means!
You are typically calm, optimistic, and kind. You are a genuinely caring and compassionate individual who tries to see the best in others and in every situation. In stressful situations, you are able to remain calm and mediate situations between individuals. —> In stressful situations, I’m likely the one who makes everyone else even more stressed out! But I do have an undeniable optimistic streak and I love seeing the best in everyone and trying to understand another people’s points of views, which makes me a compassionate person, I guess.
Your personality gives you a deep desire to feel appreciated and loved by others. In your family life, you are always giving words of affirmation, and expect the same in return. Your romantic relationships are based on a mutual trust and understanding, and you never waste an opportunity to let your significant other know that you love them – whether that be through a kind word or a kiss. You need a partner who does the same, and you feel undervalued in relationships without daily affirmation of your love and commitment. —> That is so true! I can have a fight that goes on for days when I feel like I’m not loved enough!
Your positive attitude motivates others. You are not a leader who is the loudest or most charismatic, but rather, you are a quiet leader who inspires others through your own hard work and kindness toward others. You truly lead by example. —> Aameen??? But sometimes my positive attitude also makes other people shake their heads and be like, are you freaking serious? What kind of world do you live in? Please come down to Earth!!!
Those whose true color is blue do well in caring occupations that allow them to make a difference in the lives of others. They often are most successful as faith leaders, counselors, medical professionals, or educators. —> There’s something solid there. I’ve always wanted to make a difference in other people’s lives, it’s basically all what I want to do as long as I can remember. Impact has always been my mission.
As you can see, personality tests can be so fun and tell you so much about yourself, but at the end of the day, no personality test can say everything there is to say about you. Only you have that authority. So while you learn about yourself in a deeper way through all those personality tests, don’t forget to hold on to your own sense of self as well!
